Oh yes am back after a short hiatus here on the Blog, & no, I don't have any concrete excuse for my abscence. Life sometimes just happens & you get completely caught up in it. I felt like wearing a simple midi-skirt so I went ahead & made myself one with this fabric that has been lying around in my Fabric-stash for years. I also made a matching crop top but that will make its 'Blog-appearance' some other time. Hope that you are all well & am glad to be back.

The recently held 'Coachella Festival' has been the talk of town in most online forums of the media. Everywhere you read or look there's an article, picture or post about the annually held Music & Arts Festival. I was unable to attend this year's Festival due to some conflicting schedules that involved work & family :-), but who is to say that you cannot have your own Coachella wherever you are. Who says that maxi dresses are only to be worn during summer? I disagree completely because my wardrobe is an 'all-year round' one. It's all about how you style it, in summer wear it with sandals & a straw bag & when it gets colder, layer it with tights, boots, a leather jacket & some faux fur to keep yourself feeling extra toasty.

What inspires your outfit decisions? This is what I wore to a work Christmas Party earlier last week, dinner & later a very intersting comedy show at the 'Imperial Theater' in Reeperbahn. Red is the colour of the season & this shift dress is perfect. I combined it with my favourite platform heels to finish off this 60's inspired look.
