Hope that I am not too late for the 'Mom-jeans' party but as they say, 'better late than never'. And as I always approach trends with caution, this new discovery was fround on Ebay, for a fraction of it's original price. Let's just say, I am already shopping for another pair of Mom-jeans to add to my collection because it is everything that i need in a pair of jeans, & especially in the warmer months.

There will be absolutely no twirling for me in this dress, well, not unless I have on some tights with it. I had some fabric left over from an order & decided to make my first wrap dress, which turned out a bit short but quite fun too.

Finding a camel coat that was the perfect length that I wanted & which was affordable too turned out to be a major problem. So, I decided to make one myself which turned out quite cute especially when styled with this Gingham top that I made myself too. And now that the sunny & warmer side of Spring is taking it's sweet time to show up, I get a chance to rock my new coat now.

Embroidery or appliques on pieces are very on trend at the moment & as always for me, I like to test such trends first on DIYs before investing in them. This striped shirt has been in my closet for almost 5 years & i thought a little embroidery on it would give it a 'new lease of life'. It has been raining quite a lot in the last few weeks so waterproof shoes have definately been a requirement.
