Thrifting always feels like a treasure hunt for me because I never know what am going to find, which make the experience even more exciting. And just like every treasure hunt, there are times that you come out empty handed but of course there are also days that are pretty successful. This whole look is a combination of some of my successful finds that have found a happy place in my wardrobe which will make regular appearances on my Blog, as evident here & here.

I can literally count the number of 'white pieces' that i have in my wardrobe because 'white & I' have always had a Love-Hate relationship. Trust me, I love how crisp & clean it looks when you have on something white, but what I can't stand is the high maintenance side of it. You have to be careful about where you sit, how you eat, who or what you come into contact with, which with 2 kids is almost impossible to avoid. But because one of my 2017 resolutions is to come out of my comfort...

Who knew that finding a nice pair of flared pants in Fall/Winter on short notice would be so difficult. After spending almost half a day running around shopping malls & thift shops, I finally decided to make myself one. So, off I went to Karstadt where i got some Black Denim Fabric which i used to make these pants. I didn't even have time to finish off the hems because I was travelling to Berlin for an event (blogged about it here) but i actually loved the 'unfinished finish' look of them....

Who would have thought that attending an Exhibition all about 'Sneakers' would be so interesting. I am not exactly a 'Sneaker/Sport shoes Fan' even though i have to admit that they are the most comfortable shoes ever made. But walking through the Exhibition & reading all about the history & development of this 'Kult' in the last years was really impressive.
