The weather is acting crazy this summer with the sun shinning one day & raining cats & dogs on the next day, which means that my DIY camel coat is getting lots of use (can't complain about that). I love how long it is which makes it perfect to pair with short dresses when it's warm but rainy too. And the trainers just add to every outfit a casual touch in addition to being very comfortable.

Embroidery or appliques on pieces are very on trend at the moment & as always for me, I like to test such trends first on DIYs before investing in them. This striped shirt has been in my closet for almost 5 years & i thought a little embroidery on it would give it a 'new lease of life'. It has been raining quite a lot in the last few weeks so waterproof shoes have definately been a requirement. I've had these 'Timberland inspired' boots for over 4 years & they always come to my rescue when it's cold & rainy. Sometimes we read too much into words or statements made by people without giving them a chance to explain themselves. This might end up damaging relationships that have taken years to build & really hurt the people that we love. A pair of black denim & a white button down is quite a timeless outfit that we get to wear almost everyday, especially if you work in a casual work environment. But adding a cami on top, a few accessories & some strappy sandals make the outfit a bit more interesting & can possibly take you from the office to an evening event.

Who knew that finding a nice pair of flared pants in Fall/Winter on short notice would be so difficult. After spending almost half a day running around shopping malls & thift shops, I finally decided to make myself one. So, off I went to Karstadt where i got some Black Denim Fabric which i used to make these pants. I didn't even have time to finish off the hems because I was travelling to Berlin for an event (blogged about it here) but i actually loved the 'unfinished finish' look of them....
